➕ Celeb Addition Rules

1. Basic Requirements for New Additions

- Celebrities who are actively working in their respective fields

- Celebrities with a high number of user recommendations

2. Detailed Criteria by Category

■ Actors

✅ Actors who are actively continuing their acting careers

- Actors who have appeared in 2 or more works in supporting roles or higher

- Actors with at least one credited work released within the past 3 years

- If an actor has won a Rookie Award, they may be added even with fewer than 2 works

- Eligible works include: Films, TV dramas with 12 or more episodes, OTT series

(Web dramas, sitcoms, musicals, etc. are excluded)

■ Singers

✅ Celebrities who actively release music

- Singers who have released an album or digital single within the past year

- Singers who do not belong to the idol genre

■ Entertainers

✅ Celebrities actively appearing on variety shows or YouTube

- Entertainers who are currently fixed cast members on a variety show within the past year

- Entertainers who have been consistently active on one fixed program for over a year

- YouTubers with 500,000+ subscribers who primarily produce variety content

(Guest appearances, MCs of music/audition programs, and radio DJs are excluded)

➖ Celeb Exclusion Rules

1. Voting Criteria

- Celebrities will be excluded if they receive zero votes on 3 or more separate days within the past 30 days, even if the days are not consecutive.

2. End of Activities & Social Issues

- Celebrities will be excluded upon official disbandment or retirement announcements.

- In cases involving social controversies, removal will be decided through internal review.

3. Exclusion Schedule

- Applied on the 6th of every month (after voting closes on the 5th).

✔️ Notes

- You will receive a push notification if your selected "My Celeb" receives zero votes.

- Celebrities added less than 90 days ago are not subject to removal.

- The Rising category is a temporary, event-based category. After the event ends, top-ranking celebrities may be added to official categories.

- Updates on the Rising category will be announced via the event board. If the category is not active, no separate notice will be provided.

- Idols are available on the CHOEAEDOL app.
