➕ Celeb Addition Criteria

1. Basic Criteria

• Celebs who are currently active in their respective fields

• Celebs who receive many user recommendations

2. Category-specific Criteria

✳️ Actor

• Celebs who continue to be active in acting, mainly through films, dramas, or OTT productions

■ Addition Criteria

• Celebs may be added if they have appeared in two or more productions in supporting roles or above, and have had a production released within the last 3 years.

• Rookie award winners may be added even if they do not meet the required number of productions.

■ Recognized Productions

• Films, TV dramas, OTT original series

■ Non-Recognized Activities

• Cameo appearances, special appearances, and music videos are not recognized as acting productions.

✳️ Singer

• Celebs who do not belong to the idol genre and continue to be active in music

■ Addition Criteria

• Celebs may be added if they have officially released an album or music track under their own name within the last 3 years.

✳️ Entertainer

• Professional Entertainer: Celebs who continue to be active mainly in variety shows, broadcasting, comedy, and similar fields

• Multi-Entertainer: Celebs who have another main field of activity, such as acting or singing, and also continue to be meaningfully active in entertainment programs

■ Addition Criteria

• Celebs may be added if they have appeared as main cast members in regular or seasonal variety programs within the last 3 years.

• Creators who continuously operate variety or entertainment content may also be added.

■ Non-Recognized Activities

• One-time guest appearances, appearances for comeback or production promotion, and agency-produced in-house content are not recognized as entertainment activities.

• Celebs with only one-time MC activities, such as music shows or award ceremonies, or radio DJ activities are not eligible for addition.

➖ Celeb Exclusion Rules

1. Voting Criteria

• Celebs will be excluded if they receive 0 votes for a total of 3 or more days within the last 30 days, even if those days are not consecutive.

2. End of Activity and Social Issues

• Celebs will be excluded if an official disbandment or retirement announcement is made.

• If a celeb causes social controversy, whether to exclude them will be decided through internal discussion.

3. Exclusion Application Schedule

• Exclusions are applied on the 6th of every month. (Reflected after voting closes on the 5th)

✔️ Notes

• If a favorite celeb community receives 0 votes, users will be notified through a push notification.

• Celebs added less than 90 days ago are not subject to exclusion based on voting criteria.

• One Pick and Rising category votes are event-based votes, and top-ranking celebs may be added to official categories after the event ends.

• KPOP idols are available on the CHOEAEDOL app.
